The Discord desktop app. Updates are picked up automatically; only the current, genuine version is ever routed.
Visual Studio Code
Microsoft's official Visual Studio Code installation, verified by Microsoft's digital signature.
How verification works
- Only official installations are considered, found the way their installers register them.
- Each program must carry its publisher's valid digital signature and matching product details.
- Programs are checked again immediately before connecting, so an updated or replaced file is never trusted from an old check.
- If an installation cannot be verified, it is not routed. Nightmare Ping never falls back to routing your whole PC.
